Your mediator can and should provide you with a list of recommended review attorneys. My list includes excellent attorneys who are very experienced in divorce law and prenuptial agreements, and who have a similar philosophy as mine in making prenups as generous as possible under the facts and the aims of the couple in order to support
the marriage. Most of these people I’ve worked with a number of times. Some of them have strong business backgrounds, and are good to engage if there are ongoing businesses in the asset pool of the couple or one of them.

The screens that I have suggested above to aid in choosing a mediator for a prenup will also work well in choosing a reviewing attorney, but add collaborative law and attorney to the search string, so that it reads:

Attorney mediator prenuptial agreement divorce marital mediation collaborative law and
[your geographic area]

This Google search will provids names of practicing attorneys are also either practicing mediators or collaborative lawyers (or both, as is often the case), concentrating on lawyers who are sensitive to the dynamics of what makes marriages work (and what doesn’t).
